Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within the metro Atlanta area.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices to track inventory and ensure accuracy during pickups and drop-offs.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any delivery exceptions with courtesy.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately to management.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Organize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver's License (Class C) is mandatory.
- A clean driving record with no DUIs or major traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate commercial vehicles.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication.
- Reliable transportation to and from the company depot.
