Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely delivery of packages to residential and commercial customers.
- Inspect delivery vehicles for cleanliness and ensure all safety equipment is functioning.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring items are secure during transit.
- Interact professionally with customers and handle any delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including proof of delivery and vehicle mileage.
- Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Keep the vehicle and delivery area organized and tidy.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver’s License is required.
- A clean driving record with no major violations or DUIs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly without assistance.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery information.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
