Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and merchandise to residential and commercial customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Obtain customer signatures and payment for COD deliveries, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
- Inspect vehicle condition prior to and after each shift, reporting any mechanical issues or damage immediately.
- Practice safe driving habits at all times, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Maintain a professional appearance and a clean, organized vehicle interior.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Sort and organize cargo within the delivery vehicle to ensure efficient unloading.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUI/DWI within the last 5 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer literacy for navigating delivery routes and logging data.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be available for weekend and holiday shifts as required.
