Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated addresses and drop-off points.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring all items are handled with care and accounted for.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders against invoices and ensure proper documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional demeanor and assisting customers when needed.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Collect payments or obtain signatures for COD (Cash on Delivery) deliveries when required.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for navigating delivery routes and managing paperwork.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and diverse neighborhoods.
