Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in Baltimore and surrounding areas in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain valid signatures upon completion of each delivery.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage, ensuring the vehicle is secure before departing.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times to maintain a clean driving record.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to management immediately.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or special delivery instructions.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for GPS navigation and app communication.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of the Baltimore area and traffic patterns.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
