Responsibilities
- Safe Delivery: Transport goods to designated locations safely and efficiently, ensuring all packages are delivered in perfect condition.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers to answer questions and handle any delivery-related inquiries with a smile.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs.
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload cargo from the delivery vehicle using proper lifting techniques.
- Route Planning: Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely arrivals at all stops.
Qualifications
- Valid License: A valid driver's license (Class C or higher) is required.
- Clean Record: Must possess a clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to use handheld devices for navigation.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, reliable, and willing to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Age: At least 21 years of age.
