Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated addresses in Detroit and surrounding areas.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures for all shipments to ensure accurate drop-offs.
- Provide outstanding customer service by handling inquiries professionally and resolving delivery issues.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in excellent working condition and clean.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Manage time effectively to meet delivery windows and route efficiency targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Proficient use of smartphone technology for navigation, scanning, and communication.
- Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and reliability.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic English language proficiency for communication with dispatch and customers.
