Responsibilities
- Safe & Timely Deliveries: Transport packages to customers in a professional and efficient manner, ensuring every delivery is made on time.
- Customer Service Excellence: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and resolving delivery issues.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Keep your delivery vehicle clean, organized, and in good working condition throughout your shift.
- Route Management: Follow assigned GPS routes and schedules to optimize delivery efficiency.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery receipts, logs, and paperwork for every stop.
- Package Handling: Carefully inspect and handle packages to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
- Problem Solving: Report any route obstacles or package damages immediately to the dispatch team.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a current and valid driver's license.
- Clean Driving Record: No major traffic violations or DUIs within the last 3 years.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Vehicle Access: Reliable transportation (for part-time) or a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (for full-time roles).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to use a smartphone for navigation apps.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain attention to safety protocols.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
