Responsibilities
- Safe Delivery: Transport packages and merchandise to customers in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, handling inquiries and complaints with care.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Documentation: Complete delivery logs, receipts, and delivery forms accurately and efficiently.
- Loading & Unloading: Load and unload packages from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or serious moving violations within the last 3 years).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read and write clearly.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
