Responsibilities
- Safe and Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to residential and commercial locations in Cleveland and surrounding areas with 100% accuracy and timeliness.
- Customer Interaction: Deliver friendly, professional service to every customer, ensuring packages are handled with care.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the delivery vehicle is clean and in safe operating condition.
- Route Planning: Utilize company-provided GPS and maps to navigate efficiently and optimize delivery routes.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, including proof of delivery and mileage records.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class C driver's license is mandatory.
- Driving Record: Clean driving history with no serious violations in the past 3 years.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Technology: Comfortable using a smartphone for navigation, scanning, and dispatch communication.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and dispatchers.
