Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within Albuquerque and surrounding areas.
- Utilize the delivery app to update delivery statuses and communicate with dispatch in real-time.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers politely and handling packages with care.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure the safety of yourself and the public.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Collect payments or proof of delivery signatures as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and personal appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and app usage.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle (if gig-style) or willingness to drive company vehicles (if full-time).
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
