Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods to designated residential and commercial addresses in Jacksonville.
- Verify delivery addresses and ensure accurate drop-offs of items, handling any special delivery instructions.
- Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring items are handled with care and placed in the appropriate areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally and resolving any delivery issues on-site.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Use handheld devices for GPS navigation and digital proof of delivery (POD).
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable smartphone with GPS navigation capabilities (Android or iOS).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have auto insurance and a valid social security card.
