Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food packages, retail goods, and other items to customers throughout Jacksonville
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Manage inventory and ensure products are handled with care to prevent damage
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding delivery status and resolve any concerns
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and maintain timely schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds
- Smartphone proficiency for GPS navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong customer service orientation and communication abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-provided)
