Job Overview
As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our company, responsible for the timely and safe transport of goods to our valued clients throughout the Indianapolis metro area.
Responsibilities
- Safe & Timely Delivery: Transport packages to designated addresses in a safe and timely manner, adhering to delivery schedules.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, handle packages with care, and resolve delivery issues on-site.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is clean, fueled, and in optimal working condition.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and electronic paperwork.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Route Management: Efficiently plan routes to minimize delays and maximize productivity.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A current, valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
