Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and documents to residential and commercial locations within specified timeframes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and update tracking systems in real-time
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and proper inventory management
- Communicate delivery status and delays to dispatch team proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with at least 1 year of experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate delivery vehicles
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and mobile delivery apps
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
