Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to residential and commercial destinations across Oklahoma City
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal safety and performance
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to proper handling procedures
- Utilize GPS navigation systems to plan optimal routes and maintain tight delivery schedules
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays
- Represent Swift Logistics with professionalism and exceptional customer service at every stop
Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and maneuver packages safely
- Strong knowledge of Oklahoma City streets and surrounding metropolitan areas
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior delivery or logistics experience preferred
- Reliable transportation to and from depot location
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
