Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages to designated addresses in the Indianapolis metro area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery vehicles using proper lifting techniques.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery activities and times.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or a valid State Driver’s License.
- A clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
