Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages and documents to designated addresses throughout Indianapolis and surrounding areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally and courteously with clients at every delivery point.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Utilize handheld devices to track deliveries and update status in real-time.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Handle cash and digital payments accurately for COD deliveries when applicable.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Class C Driver's License required (CDL not necessary for this position).
- Must possess a clean driving record (no major infractions within the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Basic English proficiency for communication with dispatch and customers.
- Reliable smartphone for navigation and logging.
