Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods and packages to designated residential and commercial addresses in the Indianapolis area.
- Load and unload cargo from delivery vehicles, ensuring items are secured and protected during transit.
- Verify delivery details and obtain digital signatures or proof of delivery where required.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with customers and representing our brand.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure the truck and trailer are clean and in good working condition.
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License required.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
- Physically able to lift packages and boxes weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliable access to a vehicle (if applicable) or willingness to use a company-provided vehicle.
- Basic computer literacy for using handheld GPS and delivery management apps.
