Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles following all traffic laws and company protocols
- Plan optimal routes using GPS to ensure timely deliveries across Indianapolis
- Load/unload packages with care, verifying contents and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis streets and neighborhoods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for app-based delivery tracking
- Reliable transportation to start location
