Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company protocols
- Load, unload, and verify accuracy of packages using scanning technology
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and issue resolution
- Maintain detailed delivery logs and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and customer updates
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and operational readiness before/after shifts
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or Class D driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year delivery or commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly and navigate stairs/delivery routes
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery deadlines
- Basic proficiency with mobile scanning apps and GPS navigation tools
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
