Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages, food, and merchandise to residential and commercial locations
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Verify order accuracy, handle payments, and maintain proper documentation for all deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and problem-solving
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent commercial driving background
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and maneuver packages in various weather conditions
- Strong time-management skills and ability to follow detailed delivery instructions
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery tracking systems
- Excellent communication skills and professional appearance
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
