Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and adhere to all traffic laws
- Efficiently deliver packages and goods to customers within Fresno area
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate delivery status and customer concerns to dispatch
- Assist in route planning to optimize delivery efficiency
- Represent Swift Logistics with professional appearance and attitude
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent customer service communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
