Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in a timely and efficient manner.
- Pick up and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations with care.
- Unload cargo, verify delivery contents, and obtain signatures as required.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Interact professionally with customers and handle inquiries or complaints with a positive attitude.
- Maintain accurate records of delivery logs and mileage.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or a standard state driver's license depending on vehicle type.
- A clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
