Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in urban and suburban environments.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage.
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies strictly.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or valid State Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of the New York City area geography.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and tracking.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be available for flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
