Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport goods safely to designated delivery points in Jacksonville and surrounding areas.
- Verify accuracy of packages against delivery manifests and obtain customer signatures.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service, handling inquiries professionally and resolving any delivery issues on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent.
- Must have a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and managing digital paperwork.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
