Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe, timely, and courteous manner.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is clean and in good working order.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, handle package handling with care, and resolve any delivery issues on the spot.
- Route Management: Utilize GPS technology to follow optimal delivery routes and manage time effectively.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and electronic paperwork for each stop.
- Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- License: Valid Class C Driver's License required with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Technology: Reliable smartphone with data access and proficiency in using navigation apps.
- Schedule: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late nights as needed.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
