Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles throughout the Chicago metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload merchandise efficiently using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks.
- Verify delivery contents against shipping manifests to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers at every delivery stop.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Complete daily logs and paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery schedules.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Current, valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
