As a Delivery Driver with us, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their packages safely and on time. We value safety, punctuality, and positive customer interactions above all else.
Responsibilities
- Safe and Efficient Delivery: Transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by delivering packages with a friendly demeanor and handling any customer inquiries or feedback professionally.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Navigation & Route Planning: Utilize GPS and mapping software to determine the most efficient routes, minimizing delivery times and fuel consumption.
- Package Handling: Ensure all items are loaded, unloaded, and secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, receipts, and any necessary paperwork associated with each delivery.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major traffic violations within the last 3 years).
- Vehicle: Access to a reliable vehicle suitable for delivery duties (or willingness to use company vehicle).
- Smartphone: A smartphone with reliable data connectivity to use our delivery management app.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact politely with the public.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
