Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial clients in the Raleigh area.
- Obtain proper signatures and ensure customer satisfaction upon delivery.
- Inspect delivery vehicle for cleanliness and mechanical issues before and after each shift.
- Follow prescribed routes and time schedules to ensure on-time performance.
- Handle merchandise with care, ensuring packages are not damaged during transit.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle maintenance needs immediately to management.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and mileage logs.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile technology.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and change making.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
