Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely delivery of packages and parcels to residential and commercial addresses.
- Inspect delivery vehicles for cleanliness and mechanical issues before and after routes.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and safety equipment.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and delivery records (electronic or manual).
- Navigate efficiently through traffic and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Handle cash or electronic payments and provide accurate change when necessary.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not strictly required for this entry-level position.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging devices (ELD) and paperwork.
- Willingness to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate a commercial vehicle.
