Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial locations.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring all items are secure and accounted for.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any delivery issues.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Follow designated routes and time schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
- Manage cash handling and digital payment transactions accurately.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy for using handheld devices and navigation systems.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
