Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans and box trucks) to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring items are handled with care and placed securely.
- Verify delivery addresses and collect signatures or proof of delivery when necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer inquiries professionally.
- Complete daily logs and paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License issued by the state of California.
- A clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of the Sacramento, CA area and surrounding regions.
- Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and time management.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while driving.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
