Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to residential and commercial locations in the Portland area.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring items are handled with care and are secure during transit.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic signatures upon completion of deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and fuel-efficient.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols strictly.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and change.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
