Responsibilities
- Safely transport and deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks, hand trucks, or by hand, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Inspect delivery vehicle for cleanliness and perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Utilize handheld delivery devices and GPS navigation to optimize routes and update customer status.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demonstrate excellent customer service skills at every stop.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Resolve delivery issues professionally and communicate delays to dispatch immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening prior to employment.
- Basic proficiency with smartphone applications and GPS navigation systems.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
