Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in both urban and suburban environments.
- Deliver packages to customers in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Interact positively with customers, answering questions and resolving issues.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and mileage records.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo to ensure items arrive undamaged.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 5 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change if required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle for the pre-hire driving test.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and for extended shifts.
