Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles to deliver goods to residential and commercial customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring all items are handled with care and secured properly to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and providing excellent service.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections, record mileage, and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Follow delivery routes and schedules strictly to ensure on-time performance.
- Prepare and organize delivery documents and receipts accurately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with the New York City area and its streets is highly preferred.
- Strong sense of direction and ability to use GPS navigation systems.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle (if required by position type).
- Basic computer literacy and smartphone proficiency.
