Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial clients throughout the New York City area.
- Interact with customers in a polite, professional, and customer-centric manner.
- Ensure all packages are handled with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Accurately log delivery statuses and times using our mobile app.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and pushing packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable access to a smartphone with a data plan for navigation and reporting.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early morning shifts as needed.
- Basic knowledge of the New York City geography is highly preferred.
