Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to residential and commercial destinations within the New York metro area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to delivery protocols and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, dollies, and proper lifting techniques.
- Utilize delivery management software/apps for route planning and proof of delivery updates.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and fueled.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- A current, valid US Passport or Social Security Card for verification.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex urban traffic.
- Reliable smartphone with internet access for route tracking and communication.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of New York City geography and traffic patterns is a plus.
