Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling, organization, and security of goods.
- Practice excellent customer service when interacting with clients and delivering packages.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks before and after shifts.
- Navigate routes effectively using GPS and mapping tools to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Document mileage, fuel, and delivery issues accurately in company systems.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or standard state driver's license.
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years old for interstate commerce or 18 years old for local routes.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Reliable smartphone for route tracking and communication.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
