Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods from distribution centers to customer delivery locations in the Louisville area.
- Perform loading and unloading operations, ensuring all packages are handled with care and are free from damage.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues.
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and minimize fuel consumption.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and a drug screen.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for navigation and dispatch updates.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems.
