Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently to complete assigned routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure fastening.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and handle packages with extreme care.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or incidents to dispatch immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent state driver's license.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning software.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
