Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be on customer satisfaction and timely deliveries. You will be responsible for the safe loading, transport, and unloading of goods.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans and box trucks) in a professional manner.
- Pick up and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations in the Detroit metro area.
- Verify package contents against delivery documents for accuracy.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers at every stop.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle interior and exterior.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class B or CDL preferred, but not strictly required for entry-level).
- Achieve a satisfactory result on the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar routes efficiently.
- Proficiency with handheld devices and mobile applications for route management.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
