Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated delivery locations in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any delivery issues.
- Inspect vehicles daily for cleanliness, safety, and mechanical issues before and after routes.
- Accurately handle cash, verify addresses, and complete necessary delivery logs and paperwork.
- Practice safe lifting techniques when loading and unloading packages to prevent injury.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate complex routes.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for receiving delivery instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the depot.
