Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial addresses in a safe and timely manner.
- Inspect vehicle condition prior to and after each shift, reporting any maintenance issues immediately.
- Observe traffic rules and regulations to ensure the safety of the driver and the cargo.
- Interact professionally with customers, including verifying deliveries and obtaining signatures.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and incidents using handheld devices.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and delivery software.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
