Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and goods to customers in the Detroit metropolitan area.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles efficiently, adhering to safety protocols.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic signatures upon completion.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks before and after routes.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle complaints with grace.
- Utilize mobile applications for navigation, logging, and delivery updates.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse and vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher) with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of the local streets and traffic patterns in Michigan.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic proficiency with smartphones and navigation apps.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
