As a Delivery Driver, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring our customers receive their packages with a smile. Whether navigating the bustling downtown area or the quiet suburbs of Plano and Irving, your role is vital to our logistics operations.
Responsibilities
- Transport goods and parcels safely and efficiently to designated delivery points within the Dallas metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every interaction, including professional package handling and delivery confirmation.
- Maintain a clean, organized delivery vehicle, reporting any maintenance or mechanical issues immediately.
- Manage delivery schedules and route planning to optimize time, fuel efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Handle cash or digital payments accurately and process paperwork as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of the Dallas, TX area and surrounding neighborhoods for efficient navigation.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries, tracking routes, and using digital dispatch systems.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable smartphone with data access for navigation and real-time communication.
