Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in Columbus, IL and the surrounding areas.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and follow company dress code policies.
- Interact professionally with customers, ensuring packages are handled with care and signed for appropriately.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Utilize mobile technology (smartphone/app) for navigation, tracking, and digital signatures.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines and weight limits.
- Report any vehicle issues or delivery incidents to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and smartphone proficiency for navigation and reporting.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
