Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations in Charlotte and surrounding areas.
- Ensure all packages are delivered in a timely and professional manner, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and paperwork for every route.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients and handling deliveries with care.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and support teams regarding route changes or delays.
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo efficiently.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C CDL or equivalent commercial driver's license required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Physically capable of lifting packages and standing for extended periods.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Experience with navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze) is preferred.
