Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and goods across designated routes
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service
- Load/unload shipments with attention to inventory accuracy and safety protocols
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Document delivery status and resolve any discrepancies in real-time
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety guidelines at all times
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time-management and navigation skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route tracking apps
- Reliable transportation to depot for shift start
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
